August home sales in Big Bear remained flat while the median sales price showed a slight drop, and the average sales price rose moderately. Big Bear Home Sales Home sales in August (68) were level when compared to the July sales (68). Year over year however, sales were down 9% from August 2009 (75). 20, or 29%, of the 68 sales were bank owned, 7% less than last month. Big Bear Foreclosure Numbers – June 2010

Foreclosure filings in Big Bear rose in June 2010, up 25% when compared to May, continuing the zig-zag uncertainty of the Big Bear foreclosure market. Year over year, foreclosure filings were down 12% from the June 2009 numbers, the sixth straight month that foreclosure filings were down year over year. Big Bear Home Sales – June 2010 & Second Quarter 2010

The number of homes for sale in Big Bear continued its upward rise in June.  The median sales price jumped around again, something we've seen a lot of the past 6 months, while the average sales price remained nearly the same, and Big Bear homes sales picked back up in June. Big Bear Foreclosure Numbers – May 2010

Foreclosure filings in Big Bear dropped significantly in May 2010, down 32% when compared to April. And year over year, foreclosure filings were down 46% from the May 2009 numbers, the fifth straight month that foreclosure filings were down year over year.  This is a welcome sign for an otherwise slow moving Big Bear real estate market. Home sales in Big Bear remained relatively stable in April 2010 while prices dropped pretty significantly. Big Bear Home Sales Home sales in April were up 3% when compared to the March sales (76 v. 74). Year over year, sales are up 21% from April 2009, more good news for the market. Big Bear Home Sales – March 2010 & First Quarter 2010

Home sales in Big Bear jumped in March 2010.  First quarter sales are up while prices are still down. Big Bear Home Sales Home sales in March were up 18% when compared to the February sales (73 v. 62).  Year over year, sales are up 26% from March 2009, encouraging news for the market. Big Bear Home Sales Sorry I've been so late on posting these.  To say things are busy right now in the Big Bear real estate market would be a huge understatement. So, here we go. Big Bear home sales slipped a bit in December but overall still remain strong. Home sales in December were down 10% when compared to the November sales (79 v. 88), but were up 93% when compared to the same month last year (79 v. 41).
